The Challenge
Defining the problem
The goal of this concept demo was to design a digital storefront for a fictional premium coffee roaster that feels simultaneously accessible to local customers and luxurious enough to compete with high-end eCommerce brands. The core challenge involved balancing a relatable, community-focused brand story with a state-of-the-art interface that leverages complex aesthetics — like glassmorphism and magnetic scroll animations — without sacrificing page load speeds or mobile responsiveness.
The Approach
Crafting the solution
I architected the demo using the Next.js App Router to ensure lightning-fast edge delivery alongside dynamic shopping cart capabilities. On the frontend, I utilized a custom Tailwind CSS design system coupled with highly choreographed Framer Motion animations. This allowed me to build rich, layered visual elements — such as kinetic product carousels, soft-blur floating navbars, and interactive shopping drawers — resulting in a buttery-smooth, premium experience.
